URBAN ZIPLINE LAUNCHING JULY 1st AT EMBARCADERO CENTER

Ziptrek Ecotours allows adventurers to soar 750 feet above the ground with incredible views of the Bay and downtown San Francisco
San Francisco, CA June 30th, 2011--“Feel the Rush!” The thrill of urban ziplining is returning July 1st to downtown San Francisco at the lively Justin Herman Plaza at Embarcadero Center. Fun seekers will be enticed to thrill their senses by ziplining 750 feet over the entire plaza.

Ziptrek Ecotours, based in Whistler, Canada, has partnered with San Francisco Recreation and Parks to bring this marvel back to the city. Last spring, the extremely successful event was set up for 10 days in the same location but, for 2011, the public can enjoy the ride for the entire summer, with plans to be in operation until October.

Many San Franciscans will remember the sights and sounds witnessed last year – and, those who experienced it first hand, know just how unique and amazing urban ziplining truly is. No longer part of a corporate-sponsored tourism event, the operation will run in a more traditional manner where guests will pay a fee for the experience. Pricing is set at $29 for all riders wanting to take part.

Scheduled to run 7 days a week, from 11 AM – 7 PM, the attraction is sure to garner significant interest from a wide array of customers. Perfect for virtually all ages - families and adventure seekers alike will be able to experience the thrill...
