Mr Nicka Kirstejn is appointed Managing Director for our Danish operation, Zacco Denmark A/S, as of May 1, 2012 and will be working from our office in Copenhagen. Nicka takes over from Hans-Bertil Håkansson, CEO Zacco Group, who has been acting Managing Director since November 2011.
Nicka Kirstejn has extensive experience with Intellectual Property and IP professional services  from Plougmann & Vingtoft where he headed the Life Science team and the P&V International Sales team and  was part of the management team. Before joining P&V, Nicka worked on research projects at the Institute for Structural and Molecular Biology at the Aarhus University and with drug discovery at Biosearch Denmark.

Nicka Kirstejn is a European Patent Attorney, holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and the diploma Contentieux des Brevets en Europe. He has vast experience from technology transfer prosecution, freedom to operate evaluations, IP due diligence reports and technology scouting.
