First to bring paper soap to the U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO, JAN. 25, 2012— You Smell will make its worldwide debut on Friday, February 3 at 8p.m. EST, on ABC’s “Shark Tank.” The company will launch with its signature line of all-natural, luxury bar and paper soaps. You Smell is the first company to bring paper soap—wildly popular in Asia—to the U.S. and is accepting pre-orders on yousmellsoap.com.
“Right now you have to choose between a luxury item, or one with a personality,” said You Smell founder Megan Cummins. “We didn’t think it had to be that way—people are more complex than that. Now that we have the ability to make products any way we want, we’re going all out. Our rule of thumb is, if there’s any other product out there we’d rather be using, ours isn’t good enough.”
