Kingston Charity Run

Crestron PR Manager Petra van Meeuwen and 9 of her colleagues at Crestron will be running the Kingston World Foods Market Breakfast run on Sunday 1st of April. They are taking part in the 8.2 mile event to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher.
Crestron’s ten strong team will join thousands of runners early on the Sunday morning, starting and finishing around Kingston marketplace. The Crestron team will be running to raise money for a charity close to their hearts, the Princess Alice Hospice based in Esher. The hospice is a charity that provides end of life care to adult patients and support to their families and friends across a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex.
“My friend lost her 22 year old boy to cancer two years ago.” Explains Petra van Meeuwen. “He spent the last months of his life at Princess Alice Hospice in Esher and they still provide support to the family. I have been told what an amazing job they do and when I heard about the World Foods Market Breakfast Run in Kingston, I immediately thought of running for this great cause.”
The World Foods Market Breakfast Run takes place in the heart of Kingston and is divided into two race lengths, 8.2miles and 16miles, which both follow the River Thames taking in some wonderful sights, before turning back towards Kingston Old Market Square.
