Volvo IT in new partnership with Ford-owned Volvo Car Corporation

AB Volvo’s subsidiary Volvo IT has signed a new agreement with Ford-owned Volvo Car Corporation to provide consultancy services. The new agreement comes into effect from 1 January 2006.
Volvo IT is one of two suppliers chosen by Volvo Car Corporation for a more in-depth partnership.
”We want to ensure access to resources, skills and cut costs together with our partners,” says Magnus Kinell, acting IT manager at Volvo Car Corporation.
Volvo IT provides consultants who work with project management, systems development and technical IT support at Volvo Car Corporation.
Ford-owned Volvo Car Corporation is Volvo IT’s biggest customer outside the Volvo Group.
