VOLVO GLOBAL TRUCKS DELIVERIES, januarY-NOVEMBER 2001

Deliveries from Volvo Global Trucks, which comprises Mack Trucks, Inc.,
Renault V.I. and Volvo Trucks, during the period January-November 2001
amounted to 141 923 units compared to 169 716 in the same period last
year, a decrease of 16%. Order intake was down 12%. North America was
down 37% and Europe 3% compared to the same period last year.

"As the year is coming to a close, we can see that the North American
market is still not improving. However, Europe remains strong, with the
southern European markets on a very high level. Volvo Global Trucks'
deliveries in South America and in certain key markets in Asia have
increased," says Tryggve Sthen, President and CEO of Volvo Global
Trucks.

Volvo Truck Corporation

During the period January-November, Volvo Truck Corporation delivered a
total of 61 656 vehicles, of which 1 757 were Mitsubishi Canter.

The new generation of Volvo FH and Volvo FM trucks, which were launched
in November, have been extremely well-received. Directly after the New
Year, ramp-up will commence at the Volvo plant in Sweden, and somewhat
later at the plant in Belgium.

Demand for heavy trucks in Europe continues on a high level. There is,
however, some variation in demand between the different markets. Volvo
Trucks has had excellent development on several key markets in Asia,
such as South Korea and China during this year.
