Litgrid selects wind power forecasting system from Vitec

Litgrid, which is the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator
managing electricity flows and maintaining stable operation of the national
electricity system, has signed an agreement with Vitec for the use of Vitec
wind power forecasting system, Aiolos Wind Power. The system will primarily be
used to create short-term forecasts for wind power production for the whole of
Lithuania.
