Faulty generator at Ringhals 3

At approximately 2 p.m. on 20 August a fault occured in one of the generators at the nuclear reactor Ringhals 3, which resulted in smoke build-up.
The incident led to an immediate stop of the turbine. Ringhals’ own fire brigade and external fire brigades were sent for, but as the incident turned out they did not have to intervene.
