Tornet sells properties

Fastighets AB Tornets subsidiary SkansTornet sells 12 properties in the
southern and western parts of Sweden and the subsidiary Malmstaden sells
one property in Linköping at a total price of approximately SEK 31
million. The sold properties in the southern and western parts of Sweden
are all located in regions which are not considered prioritised by Tornet.
The sales amounts to a smaller capital loss.

The year of 1999 has proceeded in the same spirit as all the years since
Tornet was listed in May 1996, with many sales and somewhat fewer
acquisitions. During the year Tornet has sold 161 properties at non
priority locations and acquired 73 properties in the ten priority regions.

"I'm very glad to be able to establish the fact that Tornet is very close
to fulfil the goal of concentration that was set up when Tornet was
listed", says Tornets CEO Sverker Lerheden.

Feldmann AG:s interest in Tornets properties in Recklinghausen, Germany,
remains and the salesprocess has reached a second phase. Therefore Tornet
has extended Feldmann AG:s, one of the largest property companies in
Recklinghausen, pre-emptive right to Tornets properties Lörhof 1 and 2.
The option lasts until 2001-12-31 and from the year 2000 Tornet receives
DEM 40 000 each month as a compensation for the option.

For more information about the sold properties, please look at Tornets Web
site: www.tornet.se under the headline Properties.
