TietoEnator sells its COM and CD ROM production

TietoEnator has sold its COM and CD ROM production to Swedish Micro Data
Skandinavia AB, effective 1 January 2001. As part of the deal, the
company's entire staff of 11 people and all its hardware will also be
transferred to the Finnish subsidiary of Micro Data. Production will
continue in the existing facilities in Pasila, Helsinki. The sale of the
business is part of TietoEnator's strategy to focus on producing high
value added IT services for specific segments of the industry.

Micro Data, a company specialising in microfilming and related production,
plans to develop and diversify its services in Finland. At the same time,
Micro Data and TietoEnator have agreed on long-term co-operation. Expanded
production and enhanced co-operation will ensure continued availability of
current services and offer customers new possibilities for handling and
storing documents.
