System Training Helps Countryside Council for Wales Cut Carbon

System Training has been commissioned to deliver its award-winning eco and defensive driver training to the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) - enabling the organisation to reduce its carbon emissions and impact on the environment.

Training will be delivered to 300 CCW employees who drive cars as part of their daily duties to help protect, sustain and facilitate access to Wales’ natural beauty.

System Training has recently picked up national awards for its safe and fuel-efficient driving techniques and has helped reduce accident rates, fuel consumption and carbon emissions for many road transport and logistics companies.

The CCW, the Government’s statutory advisor on sustaining natural beauty in Wales, has high environmental standards. It was the first organisation to be granted the Green Dragon Level 5 award for its environmental efforts and its environmental management system meets the requirements of ISO14001.
