Pekka Peltola, Vice Chairman of the board, is today appointed acting CEO for Teligent AB when Ulf Lindstén resigns on his own request due to health reasons.

Pekka Peltola is one of the founders of Teligent and a central person in the recent years restructuring of Teligent. Pekka Peltola, who also has been CEO from the start 1990 until 1997, has continued to head various strategic leadership positions in Teligent from product management to sales and marketing.

Ulf Lindstén has been CEO for Teligent during two periods. He was reinstated as CEO in May 2002. Teligent was at the time severely affected by the downturn in the telecom industry. Teligent has during Ulf Lindstén’s management shown strong growth and has managed to turn the previous negative financial performance into positive financial results.

Ulf Lindstén will continue to be available to Teligent for special assignments, e.g. within possible Merger & Acquisition activities, which play an important role in Teligent’s growth...
