Telia finalises sale of Orbiant Group to Flextronics

After receiving approval from the relevant authorities, Telia finalised
today the agreement announced in October this year with Flextronics
Network Services covering the sale of six companies belonging to the
Orbiant Group. Telia has retained a minority stake corresponding to 9
percent of the shares in the Orbiant Group. The divestment is part of
Telia's continuing efforts to focus on its core business.

The Orbiant Group consists of the Telia companies Neterna, Telia
Service, Telia Systems, Evega, Relacom and Wireless Network Management.
These companies have a total of 5,400 employees working in more than 300
locations in Sweden. (Note when Telia forms part of the company name,
the name of the company will be changed.)

Telia will purchase installation, operation and maintenance services
from Orbiant Group companies. An agreement has been drawn up covering
continuing cooperation, in which Telia has purchasing and delivery
commitments up to the year 2004.
