TDC distributes an interim dividend of DKK 6bn

Today, the Board of Directors of TDC A/S, decided to distribute an interim dividend of in total DKK 6bn or DKK 30.25 per share to the shareholders.

The distribution is an advancement of the ordinary dividend which is normally distributed in continuation of the Annual General Meeting in March. Hence, TDC's Board does not expect distribution of dividend in connection with the Annual General Meeting in 2010.

"TDC generates a stable and solid cash flow. Furthermore, the agreement of a partial divestment of Sun-rise will expectedly result in proceeds of DKK 11bn leaving TDC in a sound financial situation that will enable us to distribute the interim dividend to our shareholders" explains Jesper Ovesen, TDC CFO.

The remaining part of the proceeds from the Sunrise deal is expected to be used for debt reductions and possible investments in TDC.
