SWECO PIC to Acquire the R&D Service Business of Capricode

SWECO's subsidiary SWECO PIC and Capricode Oy have signed a Letter of Intent on the sale of the Telecom Business Unit of Capricode to SWECO PIC, effective on January 1st, 2006.
Capricode is a leading mobile device management solution provider. Its Telecom Business Unit has a turnover of 1 million euro with 20 software engineers providing mobile product development and testing services. The unit is located in Oulu, Finland.

SWECO PIC's Electronics Division employs 230 electronics R&D engineers specialised in telecommunications product development.
