People on holiday often worry about how to keep their valuables safe on the beach or at the swimming pool.

SunSecure has solved the problem with the guests valuables by launching a totally new product in Spain in spring 2010. SunLocker is a parasol base with a built-in safety box where guests can keep wallet, camera, mobile and sunglasses safe while taking a swim.

The Swedish company SunSecure has developed its product SunLocker since 2008, and now the product is ready to be released. Already this summer beach guests in Spain will be able to rent SunLocker on the beach. The parasol base is filled with sand or water and is therefore difficult to move. SunLocker is produced in the extremely durable plastic Polycarbonate, almost impossible to break even with a sledge hammer. At the same time the parasol base serves as a coffee table, something you don´t often find on the beach.

77 % want increased security on the beach

In a survey made in Greece in 2008 SunLocker was displayed to 1100 beach guests, who were asked the question “Would it make you feel more safe if you could lock up your valuables on the beach?”. 77 % answered that they would feel more safe if a solution like SunLocker was available.

Good profit

As well as solving a problem for beach guests SunLocker also gives the beach owner a chance to earn money on renting.
