Sigma and HCL Technologies have signed a MOU to form strategic partnership The Partnership is based on a shared vision of innovative Outsourcing.

Sigma and HCL Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly offer unrivalled IT expertise. The aim is to offer an innovative new form of outsourcing. Sigma & HCL have already started the dialogue with a number of customers in the Swedish market. The objective of the planned partnership is to create a joint-venture company that will hire local employees and support Swedish companies globally. The company will have Swedish management, and be consolidated into the Sigma Group.

Sigma has local strength, customer insight and international foot-print and HCL Technologies has a unique organizational culture, deep understanding of the local Swedish market needs, and a truly global delivery model with strong depth and scale of competencies. This unique combination will introduce innovative high value, lower cost solutions to address the IT outsourcing challenges of Sweden today, where the market demands flexibility and increased speed to market with respect to local requirements and global scale.

The partnership aim will be to develop and train employees to a global mindset and find new ways of working as IT professionals. It combines HCL’s innovative “Employee First” management philosophy with Sigma’s “SMART” solution’s concept – a fresh dynamic to the Swedish market.
