Telia acquires Securitas' shares in Multicom Security AB

Telia acquires all Securitas' shares in Multicom Security AB. Securitas
acquired 45 percent of Multicom Secutiry AB, which is market leader in
Sweden within the secure alarm transmission business, with annual sales of
MSEK 170 and 30 employees, in connection with the acquisition of TeleLarm
in October 1997.

As Telia take over Securitas' share and becomes owner of Multicom Security
AB to 100 percent, there are bigger opportunities to create synergies with
other businesses.

Securitas will continue developing the positive co-operation that has been
established with Multicom Security AB.

For Securitas the disposal is yet another step to focus on the core
business.
