Savills has recruited Karin Zakariasson, MRICS, to join as head of valuation in Sweden at its Stockholm based office.

Karin, previously head of valuation at Swedish based property advisor Newsec, has been recruited to further strengthen Savills valuation expertise. Karin will also grow the firm’s valuation practice in order to achieve a leading position in Sweden.  

Prior to Newsec Karin worked at Handelsbanken and property company HSB.  She has 25 years experience in the property sector. Her clients include several Swedish and international banks such as Swedbank, Aareal Bank and Pfanntbriefbank, and property companies such as Klepierre and Vasakronan.

Savills Sweden’s current Head of Valuation, Lars Rickardson, has been appointed Chairman of the consulting business (consulting, valuation, research and analysis).  He will work with Karin to develop Savills’ valuation practice into an all encompassing property service.
