SAS Cargo looks forward to new SAS destinations

Scandinavian Airline's decision to start up two new intercontinental destinations as of October 2008 is good news for SAS Cargo. Thereby, the air cargo company is able to offer its customers, the forwarding agents, air cargo capacity directly to some very popular "cargo destinations".
- For quite some time we have been looking for the right solution for our customers with a need for direct air cargo transport between India and Scandinavia. Therefore, SAS' decision is very relevant for us. The opening of San Francisco as a new destination will also be good news for our customers, since we already have quite some tonnages between Scandinavia and the American west coast, says Kenneth Marx, President and CEO for SAS Cargo Group A/S.
According to the plans SAS will start with four weekly departures between Copenhagen and India and three weekly departures between Copenhagen and San Francisco. These new routes will not affect SAS' current route network since the airline will add...
