Iréne Svensson - new Director of Information at Saab

Iréne Svensson has been appointed the new information director at Saab,
thereby becoming a member of the Saab Group's management.

Ms Svensson has served as information manager at Saab Ericsson Space in
Gothenburg since 1993. She has a Master's degree in Engineering from the
Chalmers Institute of Technology. She has also been employed by the
Municipality of Gothenburg, and has many years' experience of working
abroad, in France and Germany.

Ms Svensson will begin serving in her new position as of 1 January 2003.
