After approval by the Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget), the creation of Aker Holding AS is now completed. Saab’s investment of 1.2 billion NOK gives a shareholding of 7.5 percent.

Saab delivers new anti-tank weapon to Finland

Saab has received an order from Finland for the new anti-tank weapon NLAW. The order is valued to 38 million Euros.
Finland is the first export customer for NLAW (Next Generation Light Anti-tank Weapon). NLAW will be delivered to Finland during 2009.

Saab is selling the real estate company Fastighets AB Järfälla Veddesta 2:81 to Danske Renting AB to a purchase-sum of 665 MSEK. The profit amounts to approximately SEK 155 m., with a positive impact on cash flow by approximately SEK 140 m. The sale is a part of streamlining Saab’s operations.

Saab has received two export orders equivalent to 1 billion SEK. The orders are for Saab’s ARTHUR artillery locating radar and the BILL 2 anti-tank missile system.
