RNB’s Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting today approved the Board of Directors decision resolved on March 24, 2009 regarding the divestment of its wholly owned subsidiary Departments & Stores Europe AB with department store operation at NK in Stockholm and NK in Gothenburg. The purchaser, following a structured sales process, is Åhléns AB. The purchase consideration amounts to SEK 440 M on a debt-free basis. The divestment is conditional upon approval of the Swedish Competition Authority (Sw. Konkurrensverket).
