The Rezidor Hotel Group announces a change in their Norwegian portfolio: Rezidor and the owners of the Radisson Blu Hotel Fredrikstad, Lykkeberg Hotel Drift AS and Lykkeberg Holding AS, have mutually agreed to terminate their agreement. Effective October 1, 2009, the Radisson Blu Hotel Fredrikstadt will no longer be operated by Rezidor. The 172 room-property has been opened in February 2007.

“This termination does not affect our focus on a further profitable growth in our Nordic home markets”, comments Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor. In Norway, where Rezidor currently operates 23 hotels with a total of 5620 rooms, the group especially aims to development the young and dynamic mid market brand Park Inn.
