New TyreSafe member has a grip of the issues

TyreSafe has welcomed one of the UK’s newest online tyre and wheel retailers – Goodgrip.co.uk - as its latest associate member.

Goodgrip.co.uk is the UK trading name of Bythjul Norden AB, which has been supplying winter and summer tyres to Nordic countries for the last 10 years and launched in the UK this October.

Stuart Shingler, UK marketing coordinator, Goodgrip.co.uk, said: “We take our corporate social responsibility very seriously and our membership of TyreSafe clearly demonstrates this. We also recognise that we can play an important role in helping to spread the tyre safety message to our customers, whether it’s via our website or when a customer visits one of our fitting centres, ultimately making the roads a safer place for all.

“And although well established in Scandinavia, we’re a new entrant to the UK, so it made perfect sense to coincide our launch here at the same time as joining TyreSafe. We look forward to working closely with the organisation and its other members to continue its important work.”

As a TyreSafe member Goodgrip.co.uk will have early access to a wide range of promotional material which it will integrate with its own marketing activity.

TyreSafe’s growing membership includes most major tyre manufacturers and retailers, many vehicle manufacturers, equipment suppliers and other relevant road safety organisations and public bodies.

Welcoming the news, Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said: “It’s particularly pleasing that Goodgrip.co.uk has joined TyreSafe as soon as possible following its UK launch and wants to help in our efforts to make our roads a safer place for all.”
