Exercise of Over-allotment Option

In connection with the recent offering of shares of Q-Med AB (publ), Aros
Securities has decided to exercise in full its over-allotment option to
purchase 1,000,000 shares in Q-Med.

The over-allotment option gives Aros Securities, on behalf of the
Managers, the right to purchase up to 500,000 shares from each of Agerup
Holding B.V. and HealthCap KB at a price of SEK 58 per share. The over-
allotment option and its terms are described in the Offering Circular,
dated November 28, 1999, prepared in connection with the global offering
of shares of Q-Med and the company's listing on the Stockholm Stock
Exchange.

The shares are being purchased by Aros Securities in order to cover over-
allotments made in connection with the global offering.
