Precise Biometrics announced today that they have appointed CPS as a distributor/reseller of its biometric and smart card readers. Using its online store Smartware2u (www.smartware2u.com), CPS is able to supply all Precise Biometrics readers, including Precise Sense™ and the Precise 250 MC and Precise 200 MC readers directly to the end-customer.

Precise Biometrics has chosen GD Burti, Giesecke & Devrient’s Brazilian subsidiary, to be the exclusive distributor of its fingerprint/smartcard readers in Brazil. G&D is expecting a large demand for biometric card readers in Brazil following the rollout of the Brazilian National ID and is well-positioned to play an important role in the project.

Precise Biometrics and NXP announce that they have signed a partnership agreement to enable NXP to include Precise Match-on-Card™ on their smart-card chips. The partnership enables NXP to provide Precise Biometrics’ industry-leading on-card fingerprint comparison technology on the chips used on smart identification cards.

Precise Biometrics announces that they have entered into a partnership agreement with Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) that will provide Precise Match-on-Card™ technology for use on G&D smart-cards. The agreement enables the two companies to provide leading smart card and on-card fingerprint comparison technology while quickly responding to customer needs.

Precise Biometrics has been chosen to deliver its Match-on-Card technology for the Nigerian national ID card initially comprising 50 million citizens. The card will function both as national ID and as a bank card. The project was won through Precise Biometrics’ Nigerian partner Interswitch. In expected value, this national ID project is the largest so far won by Precise Biometrics.

As communicated earlier, by virtue of the new share issue carried out by Precise Biometrics, the number of shares and votes in the company has increased.
