FORT WORTH, TEXAS, November 8, 2010 – Toys for Tots announced today its first official fundraising campaign with Pier 1 Imports to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.  The fundraising campaign officially began November 1 in Pier 1 Imports stores nationwide and runs through December 24, 2010. 

During the holiday, new and unwrapped toys will be collected now through December 5 at Pier 1 Imports locations across the country.   Toys will be distributed to children in the communities where they are donated.   Monetary donations will be accepted at all Pier 1 Imports locations through December 24.  Additionally, during the month of November, Pier 1 will donate $1 for every person that “likes” Pier 1 Imports’ Facebook page, up to $100,000, at Facebook.com/Pier1.
