Peab to build leisure pool in Ängelholm

Peab has been awarded a contract to build a new leisure pool in Ängelholm. There will be water chutes, flume, wave pool, diving board, swimming pool, steam room, sauna, gym, etc., all housed in an area of 6,500 sq.m.

The client is Kunskapsporten and the contract is worth SEK 202 million. We will be starting planning work at once, and construction as a whole is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2014.

“The biggest challenge in this project will be work to achieve environmental classification for the building with all that an indoor pool involves,” says Bratislav Marjanovic, Regional Manager at Peab.
