To increase the quality of ambulance health care in the region, South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) operating across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset and Somerset in the South West of England, United Kingdom, has chosen to purchase MobiMed Smart, the new platform from Ortivus for decision support and monitoring, for approximately 200 ambulances – a total contract value of SEK 30 million (EUR 3.4 million).
The new MobiMed Smart product is built with an open architecture and contains advanced decision support functions such as triage, a dynamic electronic patient record form (ePRF), and plug-in possibilities. SWASFT has taken out an order that chiefly accommodates the need for powerful monitoring of vital signs, pre-hospital EKG treatment, and telemedicine.
