Aviation up by 6% in first quarter

LFV tendering for air traffic control services in Spain

Both the Spanish and Swedish governments have chosen to privatise civil air traffic control services at their airports. In total, this affects 39 Spanish airports with a traffic volume of over 2 million operations, equivalent to three times greater than LFV’s own operations within Production Terminal. The defence and security company Saab and the LFV Group, operating 16 airports and responsible for air navigation services in Sweden, have received an award for their joint efforts in enabling remote air traffic control.
