Scania makes a breakthrough into the Chinese city bus market

THE ACQUISITION OF GMS IS COMPLETED

The closing of the acquisition of GMS is done and
the money is transferred tonight Norwegian time.

Settlement of specified balance sheet accounts
will be done per 31 December 2007 in accordance
with an agreement between the parties.

The transfer of the GMS employees will
operationally take place 1 January 2008.

Truck deliveries January-November 2007

Total deliveries of trucks from the Volvo Group’s four truck companies through November this year amounted to 209,426, which is an increase of 4%, compared with the year-earlier period. Deliveries from Nissan Diesel only include the period April to November 2007. Excluding Nissan Diesel, deliveries amounted to 177,492 a decrease by 12%, compared with the year-earlier period.
