Mimer SQL now with extended support for all major Indian languages

Mimer Information Technology today announced the immediate availability
of an extensive support for 15 major Indian languages in the Mimer SQL
database management system (DBMS). This means that text data in any of
these languages can be searched and sorted according to the rules for
each specific language. No other DBMS can offer such a complete support
for all major languages in India.
The Unicode 4.0 standard character set supported by Mimer SQL has a code
map covering more than one million different characters. The Unicode
default sorting order - collation - defines a unified sorting order for
all these characters. Many languages in the world have deviations from
the Unicode default sorting order.
