Micronic Receives Repeat Order for Pattern Generator for Advanced
Packaging/Display Applications
Täby, Sweden, December 28, 2001 -- Micronic Laser Systems AB
(Stockholmsbörsen's Attract 40: MICR),
a leading manufacturer of laser pattern generation equipment to the
semicondcutor and display industries, has received a repeat order for a
multi purpose pattern generator, MP80+, for use in advanced packaging
and certain display applications from a Japanese customer. Delivery will
take place during the third quarter of 2002.
"Companies producing photomasks for advanced packaging and various
display applications are increasingly turning to high-end laser writing
tools for the resolution needs," said Sven Löfquist, Micronic president

concept for this market segment."
