Micronic receives repeat order for an MP80+ system

Täby, Sweden, December 20, 2000 - Micronic Laser Systems AB (OM Stockholm
Exchange: MICR), a company at the forefront of semiconductor and display
laser pattern generators for the production of photomasks to the worldwide
electronic industry, is pleased to announce a repeat order from a leading
US high-tech company for an MP80+ laser pattern generator. The system will
be used for photomask production for electronic packaging applications.
Delivery will take place during the second half of 2001.
