Micronic Receives Order and Delivers an Omega6600 and Confirms Financial
Outlook
Täby, Sweden - December 18, 2001- Micronic Laser Systems AB (OM
Stockholm Exchange: MICR),
a leading manufacturer of laser pattern generation equipment to
semiconductor and display industries,
today announced a sale of an Omega6600 laser pattern generator to a
major commercial photomask
manufacturer in Asia. Delivery will take place this year.
Micronic is confirming the financial outlook previously presented,
including sales exceeding last year´s of MSEK 704 and a positive net
result for the full year.
The Omega6600 is a volume production tool capable of writing photomasks
for semiconductors with
130 nm design rules. Working with high-end i-line resists, the tool
includes functions such as dual mode, flexible grid, phase shift mask
alignment, and CD correction.

line laser pattern generator for the most advanced photomasks on the
