Micronic receives an order for an Omega6005 for versatile semiconductor
photomasks
Täby, Sweden, December 21, 2000 - Micronic Laser Systems AB (OM Stockholm
Exchange: MICR), a company at the forefront of semiconductor and display
laser pattern generators for the production of photomasks to the worldwide
electronic industry, today announced that it has received an order for an
Omega6005 laser pattern generator from a Japanese maskshop. The system
will be used for versatile photomask manufacturing for semiconductor
applications. Delivery will take place during the later part 2001.
"This order from an existing customer confirms the strength of our
product mix from Omega6005 to the most advanced Omega6600 which
accommodate the semiconductor industry requirements from 0.5 to 0.15 @m
technology nodes", says Bert Jeppsson, President and CEO of Micronic.
