LOS ANGELES, CA (June, 2011) — Securing health insurance plans in California will be much easier for people that have been denied coverage due to preexisting medical conditions, as discussed by Master Insurance Services. As part of the Affordable Care Act signed by President Obama, California residents are eligible for a preexisting condition insurance plan (PCIP) if they have been denied coverage within the past 12 months.
