More than half of people asked would consider hooking up with a co-worker at an office party, research from LoveHoney.co.uk reveals today. The survey by the UK's largest online sex toy retailer also revealed that 1 in 3 people asked have already given into temptation and had a fling with a colleague! “Office romances often start at Christmas parties - but not always for the right reasons” says Sexpert Tracey Cox “Everyone's in a festive mood, the alcohol is flowing, we morph from our office personality into social creatures and all the rules that apply in the office suddenly appear to have evaporated. It's a short leap from flirting to suddenly snogging a colleague in the loo four drinks in” Men are fractionally more likely to make a move on a colleague at their office Christmas bash than their female counterparts. But women are more likely to regret it after, with 1 in 5 wishing they had never tongued the geeky bloke from IT. “The Problem is what happens afterward.” Tracey commented “Be aware that whatever you do at the party, someone will notice and if you do decide to have an office romance, be prepared for a relationship that's lived in a goldfish bowl. Everyone will watch what's going on and comment on it. It's not easy to make it work, so make sure you've thought it all through before you go there."
