Loomis appeals the withdrawal of the permit to operate cash transports in Sweden

Loomis Sverige AB will appeal the ruling of the county administrative board in Stockholm County that from February 29, 2008, suspend the company’s permit in operating cash transports in Sweden.
Håkan Ericson, CEO of Loomis commented:
- The decision to retrieve Loomis’ permit in operating activities within cash transports is strange as Loomis today fulfil the current rules for the operation. There is a lack in reasonableness and proportionality that several year old conditions in Loomis’ staff training program leads to these consequences. We have started a dialogue with the administrative board regarding the new application that we submitted during the summer. I am convinced that we will continue to run our transport business after 29 February, 2008.
