Lagercrantz Group acquires Unitronic AG in Germany

Lagercrantz Group AB has concluded an agreement to acquire all
outstanding shares in Unitronic AG, Düsseldorf, Germany.
Unitronic AG is a niched electronics supplier of special components and
modules. The company concentrates on the expanding areas of industrial
communication and special sensors. Unitronic AG has 28 employees and has
sales of about MSEK 130. Unitronic's head office is located in
Düsseldorf and the company is active in the entire German market via
branch offices.
Lagercrantz will take possession of 51 percent of the shares in
Unitronic AG September 1, 2002 and possession will be taken of the
remaining shares during 2003.
The acquisition of Unitronic is an important element of Lagercrantz's
ambition to become a more international electronics and communications
company.
Jan Friis, President and CEO of Lagercrantz Group, says in a comment:

The acquisition is expected to have a positive impact on Lagercrantz
Group's earnings already during the current financial year.
