KONGSBERG AUTOMOTIVE WINS GERMAN CONTRACT IN SEAT SEGMENT

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has booked a new order valued at MEUR 22 (183 MNOK). The new business includes delivery of Seat Heat systems to the German market, where a German automaker is preparing the launch of the next model lineup.

The customer is one of Germany’s leading carmakers and this contract represents a solid increase of Kongsberg Automotive’s market share within Seat Heaters.

Start of production is scheduled for second half of 2010, and the seat heaters will be manufactured at the company’s facility in Poland.
