Kongsberg Automotive’s (KA) Interior business area has been awarded two new contracts in the North American market. One is for an electro-mechanical seat release actuator which will be used on a premier German vehicle built in North America. The actuator is used to access the 3rd row seats and for expanding the luggage compartment. The second win is for a pneumatic lumbar system with one of the leading American OEMs.

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has received the nomination for the supply of a gear selector system to be used on the gear box of a major global vehicle OEM. The gearbox will be installed in several different cars (Entry, B & C segment cars), sold both in Europe, and in the growing Asian market in several globally recognized brands. Design and project leadership will be based in Europe.

Kongsberg Automotive’s (KA) Fluid Transfer business area announces contract awards for the Chinese and American markets worth a total of 10 MEUR.
The first contract is for supply of Air-Brake couplings to a Chinese truck manufacturer. Supply will begin in 2011. The Air-Brake couplings will partly be manufactured in KA’s facility in Raufoss, Norway and partly in the facility in Wuxi, China.
