November 24, 2009 KOENIGSEGG GROUP AB ENDS DISCUSSIONS ON THE ACQUISITION OF SAAB AUTOMOBILE AB GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN. Koenigsegg Group AB announced today that it has ended the negotiations for the acquisition of SAAB Automobile AB. “We regret that after six months of intense and determined work we have come to the painful and difficult conclusion that we are unable to complete the acquisition of SAAB Automobile,” said Christian von Koenigsegg. “Time always played a critical factor in our strategy for reviving the company.
