JET AIRWAYS CELEBRATES STRONG LOAD FACTORS AND CONTINUED GROWTH

Jet Airways continues to capitalise on the resurgent trend in air travel, posting strong passenger load factors for June, marking the ninth month of consecutive growth.

The Indian market leader recorded an impressive growth in seat factors which stood at a high of 82.2%. Jet Airways carried 364,594 revenue passengers internationally registering a buoyant 31% increase on the same period last year. Jet Airways, domestic passenger traffic also grew by 37.4% whilst JetLite, the wholly owned subsidiary of Jet Airways, posted an impressive 41% increase.

Jet Airways and JetLite both also ranked amongst the top performing scheduled domestic airlines for ‘On Time Performance’ in June, as per figures released by the Director General of Civil Aviation in India.
