HEXAGON STREAMLINES ITS BUSINESS IN DENMARK
The by Hexagon wholly-owned danish subsidiary PMC Technology A/S, which
is a part of the Hexagon business area Automation, disposes its
transmission business to Nomo Kullager AB, a subsidiary of Axel Johnson
International AB. The disposal will be concluded on 1st of September.
The disposed business has a turnover of approximately 28 DKK million
p.a. and employs 12 persons.
The disposal is a step in Hexagons strategy of focusing its operations
on four business areas. The transaction makes it possible for Hexagon
Automation to concentrate its Danish operation into hydraulics
components, systems and gears for the wind power industry. In addition
to manufacturing and distribution, PMC also develops a concept for
aftermarket services within hydraulics.
