Hexagon aquires metrology distributor in Thailand

Hexagon AB has acquired assets with respect to measurement technology from the company Thaimach Sales & Service Co., Ltd., which is Hexagon Metrology’s largest distributor of coordinate measuring machines in Thailand today. A new company, Hexagon Measurement Technologies Thailand, is established as of 1 September 2006 based in Bangkok.

”Hexagon Metrology’s sales of metrology products in Thailand amount to approximately 3 MUSD. Our new subsidiary will continue to positively develop Hexagon’s operations at this fast growing market”, says Ola Rollén, CEO and President of Hexagon.

Hexagon Measurement Technologies Thailand will contribute to Hexagon’s earnings from start.
