COMPETITION AUTHORITIES APPROVES HEXAGON ACQUISITION

The German competition authorities, Bundeskartellamt, have approved Hexagon's acquisition of Thona Group. Hexagon's consolidation with Thona group will be ef-fective 1 May 2004.
