New York (January 3, 2012) — The Fourth Annual Joint Scientific Session of the Heart Valve Society of America (HVSA) & Society for Heart Valve Disease (SHVD) is accepting abstract and case submissions for presentation.  The meeting — Valves in the Heart of the Big Apple VII:  Evaluation & Management of Valvular Heart Diseases 2012 — will take place from April 12 – 14, 2012 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.

The conference — which focuses on diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of heart valve diseases — will include state-of-the-art lectures and specialized, medical, surgical and interventional sessions led by a faculty of over 100 of the world’s top heart valve disease clinicians and researchers.

The conference is inviting physicians and researchers from around the world to submit their most challenging valvular heart disease case for the consideration for presentation during the event.
