Big step towards a solution in the U.S.

In a letter to H&M, the central US trade union AFL-CIO expresses its wish to assist H&M in its effort to reach a satisfactory solution in the ongoing dialogue regarding the process for union representation of H&M’s US employees.
John Sweeney, President of AFL-CIO writes in the letter that he will take actions to the effect that any further public actions against H&M will be withheld while the discussions to find a satisfactory solution are pursued.

“I am very pleased that we are approaching a solution to this issue. H&M strives to attain good union relations, and we want a constructive dialogue with unions in the U.S.”, says Rolf Eriksen, CEO of H&M.
